Diagnosis
Business constraints that Evox solves
When a company is not growing at the pace it should, it rarely lacks opportunities. What holds it back is a constraint: a business design condition that caps everything else. Here are the ones we diagnose, how their cost is calculated, and which Evox vertical intervenes in each one.
Symptom, problem, and constraint
A traditional marketing agency works on symptoms: if leads are lacking, run more paid ads; if the website does not convert, redesign it. Evox starts one step earlier, separating three things that are often confused.
Symptom
What is visible. Declining margin, high turnover, leads that do not close, recurring delays.
Problem
A specific issue that a department can resolve with its own resources.
Constraint
The structural condition that produces symptoms repeatedly. As long as it remains, improving any other part of the business does not move the needle. When resolved, everything moves.
The three tests of a constraint
A situation is a constraint, rather than a problem of the month, when it meets all three:
- 01
It worsens with growth
More volume means more decisions by the same core team, more diverse clients to serve, and more coordination.
- 02
Its cost recurs and compounds
It is paid in each cycle and carries over to the next: today's discount conditions the client for the entire coming year; an unfilled position today caps revenue for the next twelve months.
- 03
Targeting symptoms does not eliminate it
Training sales reps does not fix a poorly structured price. Hiring more people does not fix a process that does not scale.
Why it does not appear on the income statement
No accounting ledger has a line item called "constraint." The loss is recorded under other names: discounts as commercial policy, turnover as recruitment cost, slowness as "market conditions," rework as quality cost. Each line item can be defended in isolation. Together, they act as a tax on growth that no one approved and everyone pays.
What stage is your company in?
The dominant constraint changes with company size. Each stage resolves its own constraint and introduces the next: a company that delegates decisions discovers a lack of managers; one that professionalizes management discovers insufficient margins; one that fixes margins discovers it is no longer as fast as its competitors. That is why the diagnosis begins with the stage.

Structural business constraints
These are the costliest constraints because they reside in the company's design rather than in a campaign or channel. They rarely appear in isolation: it is common to find three or four combined, with one dominating the rest. For each constraint, we explain how it manifests, why it costs so much, how to calculate its cost using your company's numbers, and what Evox does.
AStrategy and business model
They stem from decisions about where to compete and how to win. They set the ceiling on growth long before any operational department can intervene.
A1We sell the entire catalog to any client, and our margin drops year after year. What is happening?
Stage: Any stage
How it manifests
This is strategic overgeneralization. There is no defined ideal customer profile or differentiated proposition for each segment. Every opportunity seems good, and the sales team pursues them all.
Why it costs so much
Serving highly diverse clients becomes increasingly expensive, and that cost grows faster than revenue. Commercial effort is scattered across all of them, and the average price drops, because without specialization there is no rationale to charge a premium. In financial statements, this surfaces as rising customer acquisition costs and falling margins, never as a strategy issue.
How its cost is calculated
Using three metrics per segment: contribution margin, customer acquisition cost, and close rate. The first analysis identifies what percentage of clients generates 80% of the margin, not of revenue. The cost of the constraint is the margin currently lost on segments that cost more to serve than they yield, plus what that same commercial effort would return if directed toward high-yield segments.
What Evox does
Strategic™ defines where to compete. Evox Market Intelligence™ measures demand and competition within each segment and recommends which to prioritize. In Evox Growth™, the Behavioral Friction Index™ from X7™ traces the segmentation boundary: where your clients come from and the true reach of your customer base. Once the segment is selected, Go-to-Market Sprint™ defines positioning and value proposition, and Execution™ redirects investment and channels toward that customer.
Where it surfaces in the revenue engine
A2Discounting has become our primary closing argument and almost no one pays list price. How does Evox solve this?
Stage: Institutional
How it manifests
This is weak pricing power. A price list exists, but almost no one pays it, each sales rep discounts differently, and competing comes down to lowering prices.
Why it costs so much
Every point of price given away comes entirely out of profit, because cost of goods sold does not decrease. If the operating margin is 10%, a one-point discount takes away a tenth of operating profit. Furthermore, discounting conditions the market: the client learns to expect it, the sales rep learns to rely on it to close, and the list price becomes fiction. Without margin, there are no funds to invest, and growth is financed through debt or abandoned altogether.
How its cost is calculated
Compare the list price with the actual invoiced price across the last one hundred transactions or contracts, examining the volume-weighted average discount and how it varies by sales rep and customer segment. Assuming constant volume, additional profit from regaining price equals the points recovered multiplied by revenue. Its impact on the bottom line is those points divided by the operating margin: with a 10% operating margin, recovering two percentage points increases profit by 20%.
What Evox does
Evox solves this through consulting and training. In Evox Growth™, the X7 Revenue Architecture Model™ reviews offer structure, how core and complementary products are bundled, and where revenue leaks occur. Evox Market Intelligence™ benchmarks your pricing and value proposition against direct competitors, and the Competitive Gap-Analysis Engine™ identifies the differentiation that justifies charging higher prices. Intelligence™ trains those who set and defend pricing: the Paid Masterclass The Pricing Strategy Lab, the Revenue Architecture Executive Program for leadership, and Executive Mentoring for specific pricing decisions.
A3One or two clients, or a single channel, account for most of our revenue. How does Evox reduce that risk?
Stage: Any stage
How it manifests
This is demand concentration. A single large account, distributor, or ad platform accounts for the majority of sales. The risk is recognized, discussed, and tolerated.
Why it costs so much
Bargaining power shifts: the large client dictates terms, and margins on that account erode year after year. Investment decisions become dependent on that relationship, and pursuing growth elsewhere is neglected to avoid jeopardizing it. If that account or channel is lost, the company suddenly loses a substantial portion of revenue that takes years to replace.
How its cost is calculated
Determine what percentage of revenue and margin comes from the top three clients and the primary channel, and track how account margins evolved over the past three years. Next, model a scenario: evaluate what happens to cash flow and profit if the largest account or channel is lost, and calculate what it would cost to acquire replacement clients at current customer acquisition costs.
What Evox does
Strategic™ identifies where else demand exists: Evox Market Intelligence™ measures alternative segments and markets, and Go-to-Market Sprint™ plans market entry. Execution™ builds new acquisition channels through B2B prospecting, corporate SEO, LLM Optimization, and paid campaigns, while Engineering™ builds a proprietary customer database in the CRM to eliminate dependency on intermediaries for repeat sales.
Where it surfaces in the revenue engine
- All my customers come from paid ads. How does Evox reduce that dependency?
- I do not own a customer database to drive repeat sales. What does Evox build?
- I rely on too few acquisition channels. How does Evox expand them?
- I am launching a new product or entering a new market. How do I avoid moving blindly?
BStructure, governance, and decision-making
They define who decides, at what speed, and under what rules. They are not visible on the organizational chart, but they set the company's real pace.
B1Everything requires the owner's signature or sign-off from two or three directors. What does Evox do?
Stage: Foundational
How it manifests
This is a decision bottleneck. Purchasing, pricing, discounts, hiring, and any significant expense await sign-off from one person or a tiny leadership core. Meetings are packed but decide little. The owner's schedule dictates how much the company can grow this quarter.
Why it costs so much
Decision volume increases with business growth, but leadership decision-making capacity remains fixed. The damage unfolds in three layers. Speed: every pending decision stalls all dependent initiatives. Quality: overloaded leaders make decisions fatigued and disconnected from operational context. Initiative, which is the costliest: the team learns that proposing ideas is futile and stops bringing opportunities forward.
How its cost is calculated
Using four data points every company possesses: how many decisions per month require core leadership sign-off, average turnaround time per decision, how much pipeline or how many projects are stalled waiting for approval, and how many deals were lost due to delayed responses. Annual losses are estimated by multiplying stalled pipeline by the historical loss rate from delays, plus postponed decisions multiplied by their average financial impact. This order of magnitude clarifies whether the constraint costs tens of thousands or millions.
What Evox does
Across commercial and marketing operations, Strategic™ establishes which decisions can be delegated, under what rules, and with what data: discount thresholds, channel budgets, and approval criteria. Execution™ provides a Fractional CMO to lead marketing decisions and vendor relationships. Engineering™ automates rule-based approvals and develops Business Intelligence dashboards so decision-makers receive data directly without routing through the owner. Intelligence™ guides the founder through Executive Mentoring during the delegation process.
B2The company has grown, but the organizational chart is still the one from when we were ten people. How does Evox help?
Stage: Expansion
How it manifests
This is a misaligned structure. The company doubled or tripled in size while keeping the organizational structure of an early-stage business. Silos emerge, responsibilities duplicate, and marketing, sales, and customer service operate without clear handoffs. The strategy requires a way of working that the current structure cannot support.
Why it costs so much
Coordination becomes expensive: every initiative requires cross-departmental meetings with no single accountable owner. Headcount and budgets remain allocated to legacy priorities. The true cost is approved strategy that never gets executed, because no one in the structure is tasked with driving it.
How its cost is calculated
Monthly coordination hours (meetings multiplied by attendees multiplied by hourly cost), redundant roles and their associated expense, cycle time between initiative approval and execution, and initiatives approved over the past twelve months that were never launched, along with their projected revenue.
What Evox does
Strategic™ recommends a more efficient structure: identifying missing roles, defining accountabilities, establishing handoffs across marketing, sales, and service, and determining what to keep in-house versus outsource. In Evox Growth™, this is built into the marketing operating model design. Intelligence™ equips leadership to redesign and sustain the structure: the Future of Work Executive Program addresses structure, roles, and workflows; The Modern CRO Program unifies sales, marketing, and customer success under a single revenue model. While new roles are being filled, Execution™ steps in with a Fractional CMO or embedded specialists.
Where it surfaces in the revenue engine
B3Every campaign, content piece, or quote goes through so many approvals that it launches late. What does Evox do?
Stage: Institutional
How it manifests
This is bureaucracy applied to commercial operations. A campaign requires sign-off from three departments, a sales quote waits for committee reviews that never reach closure, and monthly reports are generated that no one uses to make decisions.
Why it costs so much
Slowness becomes standard and speed is no longer rewarded. The market does not wait: while a proposal is being reviewed, another vendor has already responded. The cost is captured demand taken by faster competitors, cycle after cycle, combined with internal hours spent on reports that influence zero decisions.
How its cost is calculated
Turnaround time from campaign, creative, or quote request to delivery, and the number of approval gates it crosses. Win rates segmented by response time: the difference in win rate between fast and delayed quotes, multiplied by annual quote volume, yields revenue lost to response delays. Add monthly hours spent generating reports versus how many of those reports directly drove a decision.
What Evox does
The scope is focused on the commercial and marketing engine; Evox does not redesign overall corporate governance. Strategic™ establishes which metrics matter and defines approval authorities. Engineering™ automates approval workflows with clear business rules, organizes quoting processes within the CRM, and replaces manual reporting with a Business Intelligence dashboard displaying actionable decision metrics.
CPeople and knowledge
Once the business model works, what limits growth is no longer capital, but the people operating the commercial levers and what those people know.
C1Critical processes depend on two or three people, and if one is absent, everything stalls. How does Evox solve this?
Stage: Expansion
How it manifests
This is knowledge concentrated in key individuals. Core workflows live inside someone's head rather than within a documented system. Certain tasks must pass through a single person, and a vacation can paralyze operations.
Why it costs so much
Undocumented knowledge cannot scale, cannot be audited, and leaves when the employee leaves. Every departure of a key individual strips the organization of institutional capability. The cost appears as recurring errors and perpetual learning curves.
How its cost is calculated
Number of critical processes with only one qualified operator, operational days stalled or degraded per year due to absences, ramp-up time for new hires to achieve full productivity, and rework hours caused by recurring mistakes.
What Evox does
Engineering™ extracts knowledge from individuals and embeds it into systems: automated workflows that run consistently regardless of operator, and AI Agents integrated with internal documentation to answer queries previously restricted to a single specialist. Intelligence™ trains multiple team members across critical competencies through InCompany programs and Academies, decoupling expertise from specific individuals.
C2Key marketing, sales, or technology roles lack the profile required by our current stage. What does Evox offer?
Stage: Expansion
How it manifests
This is talent mismatched to the company's growth stage. The skill set that built the company is not the one required to scale it. Key roles are filled based on trust rather than capability, and top performers begin leaving.
Why it costs so much
Every key departure generates five distinct costs: recruitment and hiring, lost productivity while the seat remains vacant, onboarding and ramp-up time for the replacement, client attrition tied to the departing employee, and organizational fatigue as the remaining team becomes overburdened, accelerating subsequent turnover. All this occurs precisely when scaling requires stronger leadership.
How its cost is calculated
Across critical departments: annual turnover in key positions, average days vacant multiplied by daily compensation, accounts whose primary relationship was tied to departing staff, and management hours dedicated to recruiting and retraining. Aggregated across departures over the past twelve months, the total typically exceeds several times the cost of having developed that talent in the first place.
What Evox does
Across marketing, sales, and technology: Execution™ fills critical roles immediately without extended hiring cycles: a Fractional CMO for leadership, specialized talent through Staff Augmentation, or an entire agile pod via Shared Teams. Evox acts as the legal employer of record and guarantees rapid profile replacement. Intelligence™ upskills internal teams to match stage requirements through Executive Programs such as Modern CMO, Modern CRO, or Chief AI Officer, technical Professional Courses, and Executive Mentoring.
Where it surfaces in the revenue engine
- I do not have a marketing director. What does Evox offer?
- As a founder, I lead marketing myself without formal training in it. How does Evox help?
- I know what needs to be done, but lack the team to execute it. How does Evox help?
- I want to scale, but hiring takes months and increases fixed payroll. What alternative does Evox provide?
- My team has great commitment, but lacks advanced technical capabilities. How does Evox help?
- Our executive leadership lacks the technical framework to make informed decisions on AI, data, and technology. What does Evox offer?
DProcesses, information, and operations
How execution happens, with what information, and with how much complexity. These are the constraints of the operational engine.
D1Every order or request is treated as a unique case, and delivery quality depends entirely on who handles it. What does Evox do?
Stage: Foundational
How it manifests
These are manual, unstandardized processes. Quality relies on individuals improvising solutions rather than executing structured systems. Every request is handled as a one-off, and errors multiply with volume.
Why it costs so much
Manual processes do not scale: doubling capacity requires doubling headcount, which doubles operational variance. The cost manifests as rework, wasted hours, and clients receiving inconsistent service with every interaction.
How its cost is calculated
Monthly hours spent on repetitive manual tasks multiplied by hourly wage costs, error and rework rates, additional headcount required per incremental unit of volume, and client response times compared to client expectations.
What Evox does
Strategic™ defines what to automate: Evox AI-First™ maps workflows and determines which should be automated via deterministic rules, which through AI Agents, and which require human supervision. Engineering™ implements them across five tiers, from Process Automation for rule-based flows to Agentic Transformation for a comprehensive operational model redesign. This represents the Orchestrate stage of CORE™.
Where it surfaces in the revenue engine
- Executives waste hours on repetitive operational tasks that could be automated. What does Evox do?
- My team wastes countless hours on repetitive manual workflows. What does Evox automate?
- We experiment with disconnected AI tools and see zero business impact. How does Evox help?
- Leads go cold before anyone contacts them. What does Evox do?
D2Each department has its own version of the numbers, and decisions are defended with opinions. How does Evox resolve this?
Stage: Institutional
How it manifests
This is deciding without data. Marketing, sales, and finance calculate identical metrics differently. Reports arrive late or not at all, and meetings are won by whoever argues most persuasively rather than by facts.
Why it costs so much
Without a single source of truth, every decision starts from scratch, and mistakes are uncovered only after becoming expensive. The loss lies not in the cost of gathering data, but in decisions made without it: budgets maintained in underperforming channels, or products sustained without knowing whether they generate margin.
How its cost is calculated
Number of days elapsed from month-end close to reporting availability, count of metrics defined inconsistently across departments, percentage of commercial and marketing budget allocated without measured ROI, and decisions over the past year that had to be reversed.
What Evox does
Strategic™ structures what to measure and how to act: Evox Audit Lab™ identifies measurement breakdowns and calculates true customer acquisition costs, while Evox Growth™ translates metrics into prioritized decisions ranked by bottom-line impact. Engineering™ builds the single source of truth: a Data Platform featuring a unified schema, governance policies, and Business Intelligence dashboards. Intelligence™ trains executives and teams on data-driven decision-making. In the funnel, this corresponds to constraint X0 in Marketing Engineering™.
Where it surfaces in the revenue engine
- Numbers in Google, Meta, Analytics, and the CRM do not match. How does Evox resolve this?
- I do not know which channel drives my sales. What does Evox build to provide visibility?
- We have data siloed across multiple platforms, with no unified model or quality standards. What does Evox build?
- We track extensive metrics, but do not know how to turn data into action. How does Evox help?
- My team receives reports, but struggles to interpret them commercially. What does Evox offer?
- Our CRM, ERP, and marketing tools do not communicate with each other. What does Evox do?
D3Product catalogs and customer accounts are expanding, but profits are flat. How does Evox help manage complexity?
Stage: Expansion
How it manifests
This is unmanaged complexity. Products are added because a single client asked for them, service variations multiply, projects never formally close, and a long tail of small accounts consumes operational bandwidth and executive attention.
Why it costs so much
None of these decisions seemed wrong when made; the issue is their cumulative weight. Complexity expands faster than revenue and amplifies every other constraint: coordinating more variables slows down decisions, competing priorities dilute team focus, and uncalculated cost to serve leads to mispriced offerings. This culminates in profitable customers subsidizing unprofitable ones.
How its cost is calculated
Determine what percentage of clients and products generates 80% of margin (not revenue); calculate the cost to serve each client, even through a simplified overhead allocation; and audit open projects with clear owners and completion dates versus open-ended initiatives. The defining figure is subsidized margin: the aggregate deficit of revenue minus cost to serve across negative-margin clients and products. That is what the business pays every month to maintain operational complexity.
What Evox does
Strategic™ determines what to offer, to whom, and in what sequence: in Evox Growth™, the X7 Revenue Architecture Model™ separates core from complementary offerings, pinpointing what to sunset, unbundle, or reprice. Engineering™ builds the analytical infrastructure needed to sustain those decisions: a dashboard showing margin and cost to serve per client and product, powered by a unified ledger linking sales, costs, and margins.
EProfitability and investment
This is not about a "lack of money," a convenient and almost always incorrect diagnosis, but about how the commercial model consumes or fails to generate the margin that growth requires.
E2Sales are growing, but profits are not. Where is the issue, and how does Evox solve it?
Stage: Any stage
How it manifests
This is low structural profitability. Top-line revenue rises while net earnings remain flat. Margin is eroded by discounts, operational rework, elevated cost to serve, and acquisition tolls: advertising platform costs per click or lead, and channel partner commissions on every transaction.
Why it costs so much
Margin is what funds the next stage of growth. Without it, all decisions become short-term fixes and capital investments are repeatedly delayed. This is the constraint that ultimately bankrolls every other inefficiency.
How its cost is calculated
Contribution margin by channel, segment, and product after customer acquisition costs; true CAC versus customer lifetime value; percentage of gross revenue spent on ad spend and commissions; and a detailed breakdown of lost profit categorized by root cause.
What Evox does
Focused on the commercial drivers of margin: Strategic™ brings visibility: Evox Audit Lab™ computes true acquisition costs, Evox Growth™ audits the unit economics across the entire revenue model, and Evox Revenue Unlock™ quantifies monthly revenue left on the table by constraint using an EBITDA Waterfall model. Execution™ lowers acquisition costs by improving conversion rates from existing traffic and launching non-pay-per-click channels; Engineering™ optimizes conversion signals sent to ad platforms to lower cost per lead. Once the model is profitable and ready to scale, Performance™ shares the risk of expansion.
Where it surfaces in the revenue engine
- Revenue is high, but margins are compressed because acquisition costs are excessive. How does Evox solve this?
- What does Evox execute operationally to reduce customer acquisition costs?
- How does engineering infrastructure lower cost per lead across advertising platforms?
- I want to increase acquisition spend without eroding profitability. How does Evox do that?
- Why pay a fixed agency retainer if results are not guaranteed?
E3We cut marketing, systems, or training to protect quarterly earnings. How much is that costing us?
Stage: Any stage
How it manifests
This is underinvestment in capabilities. Profitable ad spend is slashed, CRM implementations or website migrations are delayed, team training is suspended, or commercial vacancies remain unfilled just to polish quarterly numbers.
Why it costs so much
Savings are immediate, but costs arrive delayed and compounded. Demand not generated today leaves the pipeline empty in future quarters, legacy systems cause daily manual overhead and errors, and technical debt accumulates invisibly. By the time revenue impacts surface, nobody attributes them to the initial budget cuts.
How its cost is calculated
Compare short-term savings against lost revenue. For advertising: channel-attributed sales before and after budget cuts, adjusted for sales cycle length. For systems: manual hours, errors, and lost opportunities caused by legacy software. For open roles: pipeline capacity historically managed by that position. All annualized over a twelve-month horizon.
What Evox does
Evox focuses on commercial, marketing, and technological investments, not plant maintenance or general facilities. Strategic™ identifies where investment sits below channel return potential, where it is misallocated, or where cuts were made directly into revenue-generating engines; in Evox Growth™, the Conversion Velocity Framework™ audits true channel profitability. Evox also provides investment structures that protect quarterly balance sheets: Execution™ converts fixed overhead into variable costs, Engineering™ operates under fixed-price deliverables, and Performance™ uses a reduced base fee paired with performance incentives tied to actual revenue growth.
Where it surfaces in the revenue engine
- How do I know which acquisition channels are right for my business?
- We lack a coherent MarTech stack and do not know what tools we need. Where does Evox start?
- I want to increase acquisition spend without eroding profitability. How does Evox do that?
- Why pay a fixed agency retainer if results are not guaranteed?
How we calculate what a constraint costs
Every constraint can be converted into financial terms using the same method. This is the framework used in Strategic™ diagnoses, powering the EBITDA Waterfall in Evox Growth™ and Evox Revenue Unlock™.
- 01
Translate it into a measurable metric
Wait days, discount percentage points, employee turnover, manual hours, margin per customer.
- 02
Reconstruct what would have happened without it
Not a theoretical ideal, but an achievable benchmark that leadership recognizes as reasonable.
- 03
Annualize the impact
Modeled against the company's actual operating run rate.
- 04
Present it as a range
Conservative and aggressive, never as a single absolute figure. A range acknowledges uncertainty and enables leadership to calibrate with internal figures.
The cost always consists of three components:
Visible
What already exists on the balance sheet under other names: discounts, recruitment fees, interest expense, rework.
Opportunity
Pipeline deals, projects, and qualified buyers that existed but were never served.
Compounded
The multi-period drag: a role left unfilled today limits revenue across subsequent quarters.
Why they persist
If constraints are so costly, why hasn't an established company already resolved them? It is rarely due to a lack of effort.
They lack a dedicated line on the financial statement
What does not appear on the income statement lacks an owner and a budget, failing to gain priority in executive meetings.
Past success shields them
The centralization that suffocates today is what founded the company; the broad product line that now dilutes margins is what initially drove expansion. Changing it feels like abandoning what worked.
No single department owns them
They sit between functional silos: margins involve both sales and operations, execution speed belongs to executive leadership, talent belongs to individual managers. Each team sees someone else's symptom, while nobody views the entire mechanism. That is also why single-discipline vendors fail to resolve them: the media agency optimizes ad spend, the web developer optimizes the website, and the underlying constraint persists in the middle. Evox applies a unified methodology across the entire system.
Their bills arrive with a delay
Failing to address a constraint today shows up in financial results one to three years later, once buyers are conditioned to discounts, talent has departed, or competitors have captured market demand. By then, few connect the symptom back to its original cause.
Where they surface in the revenue engine
Structural constraints become visible across the revenue engine: in the sales funnel, acquisition channels, brand equity, data, and technology infrastructure. Here are the questions we hear most often, organized by where the symptom appears. Each answer outlines which Evox vertical intervenes; if the root cause is structural, the response links back to the underlying constraint.
Sales funnel constraints (X0-X7)
Marketing Engineering™ divides the revenue engine into eight stages. The constraint is whichever stage limits all the others: investing in any other stage will not increase revenue.
Numbers in Google, Meta, Analytics, and the CRM do not match. How does Evox resolve this?
That discrepancy is constraint X0, Data Opacity: without reliable data, every investment decision is made blind. Evox Audit Lab™ is an independent 2 to 3 week technical audit of measurement infrastructure, paid media accounts, and CRM hygiene. It identifies where tracking breaks down, calculates true customer acquisition costs, and delivers a remediation backlog prioritized by bottom-line profitability impact.
Underlying constraint: D2 Deciding without data
I do not know which channel drives my sales. What does Evox build to provide visibility?
This is also constraint X0. Engineering™ builds the infrastructure that resolves it: Server-Side Tracking and Measurement Infrastructure to restore conversion signals degraded by browsers and ad blockers, Revenue Data Infrastructure to unite sales, costs, and margins into a single source of truth, and Business Intelligence & Analytics to visualize in real time which channels, campaigns, and customer segments drive revenue.
Underlying constraint: D2 Deciding without data
My brand lacks market visibility. How does Evox help?
When the market does not recognize your brand, the constraint lies in X1, Exposure. Execution™ addresses this through senior teams delivering corporate SEO, campaigns across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, programmatic media, and content, operated by a Shared Team or dedicated specialists. Capital is focused on audiences matching your ideal customer profile rather than buying indiscriminate reach.
People see our brand, but nobody clicks. What does Evox do?
This is constraint X2, Attention: the message reaches the audience but fails to generate interest. Execution™ refines targeting, copy, and creative assets across paid campaigns and organic content, using systematic testing to discover which messaging resonates with your buyers. Every iteration is evaluated against business outcomes rather than impressions or follower counts.
I have traffic but few leads. How does Evox solve this?
When visitors leave without submitting their details, the constraint sits in X3, Interest. Execution™ applies conversion rate optimization: A/B testing landing pages, reducing form friction, analyzing heatmaps and session recordings, and crafting action-oriented copy. In B2B environments, this is paired with outbound prospecting lead generation.
My website is slow or fails to convert. What does Evox build?
A slow website or one not architected for conversion also throttles stage X3. Engineering™ develops high-performance corporate websites and online stores featuring modern architecture, optimized load times, and technical SEO from day one, engineered to capture commercial demand rather than merely display the brand.
Leads go cold before anyone contacts them. What does Evox do?
This is constraint X4, Operational Qualification: inbound demand arrives, but the team cannot filter or route it quickly enough. Engineering™ implements a CRM with routing and scoring logic, Marketing Automation to nurture early-stage leads, WhatsApp Business API for instant conversational engagement, and AI Agents that respond, qualify, and route inquiries without manual effort.
Underlying constraint: B3 Commercial approval bottlenecks · D1 Manual, unstandardized processes
My sales team cannot distinguish a qualified lead from an unqualified one. How does Evox help?
When qualification fails due to commercial judgment rather than tooling, constraint X4 is solved by upskilling the team. Intelligence™ trains sales organizations in lead scoring, consultative selling, and revenue operations through Professional Courses such as AI Sales or Revenue Operations, Workshops within the Sales & Revenue vertical, or custom InCompany programs built around your specific sales process.
Prospects schedule meetings or receive proposals and then go dark. What does Evox do?
This is constraint X5, Commercial Commitment: momentum stalls between initial contact and formal evaluation. Engineering™ structures the CRM pipeline with defined stages and exit criteria, automating follow-ups via email, calendar reminders, and WhatsApp messaging to ensure no prospect is left without a clear next step due to oversight or bandwidth constraints.
We reach the final stage of sales conversations, but fail to close. How does Evox help?
This is constraint X6, Decision: win rates remain low despite a healthy pipeline. When the obstacle stems from how negotiations are conducted, Intelligence™ trains commercial teams and sales leadership in consultative selling, pricing strategy, and revenue architecture through Professional Courses, Executive Programs like Modern CRO or Revenue Architecture, and Executive Mentoring.
Underlying constraint: A2 Weak pricing power
Shoppers reach the checkout on my online store and abandon their purchase. What does Evox do?
In eCommerce, constraint X6 frequently resides in the checkout experience. Execution™ optimizes the checkout flow: eliminating unnecessary steps and friction, evaluating payment gateways and trust badges, improving page load speeds, and validating every change via A/B testing before sitewide deployment.
Customers buy once and never return. What does Evox build?
This is constraint X7, Retention. Engineering™ builds the infrastructure that powers recurring revenue: automated lifecycle email sequences, eCommerce platforms optimized to increase customer lifetime value, and predictive models that identify churn risk before it happens.
How does Evox design a customer retention and loyalty strategy?
Retention is an architectural design challenge before it is a software problem. In Evox Growth™, the Loyalty Loop Psychology Lab™ subsystem within X7™ designs customer retention models based on actual purchasing patterns, calibrates incentive mechanics, and applies behavioral economics to increase repeat business. The roadmap is then deployed alongside Engineering™ and Execution™ or handed off to your internal team.
Acquisition and channel constraints
Selling depends on how customers arrive. If all buyers come through a single channel, or if that channel is expensive and third-party owned, growth remains vulnerable to external decisions.
All my customers come from paid ads. How does Evox reduce that dependency?
Relying exclusively on paid media platforms means customer acquisition cost is dictated by ad networks, and cutting spend halts demand immediately. Execution™ builds proprietary, compounding channels: corporate SEO, editorial content, AI search answer positioning (LLM Optimization), and social communities. Paid advertising continues, but ceases to be the single point of failure.
Underlying constraint: A3 Demand concentration
I do not own a customer database to drive repeat sales. What does Evox build?
When every sale restarts from scratch on an ad platform, customer acquisition costs never decrease. Engineering™ builds an owned asset: a CRM tracking complete prospect and customer histories, automated email and WhatsApp workflows to communicate without paying per click, and segmentation to generate repeat sales from existing buyers.
Underlying constraint: A3 Demand concentration
I rely on too few acquisition channels. How does Evox expand them?
With only one or two channels, any algorithm shift or cost increase strikes sales directly. Execution™ manages Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, programmatic media, SEO, LLM Optimization, and outbound B2B prospecting with dedicated domain specialists, methodically expanding acquisition while measuring incremental revenue by channel.
Underlying constraint: A3 Demand concentration
How do I know which acquisition channels are right for my business?
Adding channels indiscriminately only dilutes capital. In Evox Growth™, the Conversion Velocity Framework™ from X7™ audits the true profitability of each channel beyond platform-reported metrics, defining the optimal media mix based on what reliably drives revenue. For product launches, Go-to-Market Sprint™ evaluates and selects fitting channels within two weeks while discarding low-yield avenues.

Strategy and leadership constraints
Many businesses execute without a defined strategy or without executive ownership driving it. The result is unfocused activity: doing a lot while making little progress.
We hire agencies, but nobody has defined a coherent marketing strategy. Where do I start?
Many mid-market companies thrive without ever having had a dedicated head of marketing: they outsource tactical execution while no one analyzes the business model or charts a strategic growth path. Deep Discovery™ is a one-week sprint featuring an intensive working session where Evox architects your marketing strategy before selecting specific tactics or deliverables. The engagement yields a comprehensive strategic blueprint along with an execution scope.
I do not have a marketing director. What does Evox offer?
Fractional CMO: an experienced marketing executive from Evox embedded part-time on your leadership team to structure budgets, audit agencies, establish commercial goals, and govern ROI. It is the ideal solution for businesses requiring senior executive leadership without the overhead of a full-time C-suite hire.
Underlying constraint: B1 Decision bottleneck · C2 Talent mismatched to growth stage
As a founder, I lead marketing myself without formal training in it. How does Evox help?
When marketing leadership falls on the founder, that individual's strategic bandwidth becomes the bottleneck. Intelligence™ provides one-on-one Executive Mentoring with Gabriel Bertagnolli and Pamela Monteblanco to navigate complex strategy, organizational design, and capital allocation decisions, alongside Executive Programs like Modern CMO to develop commercial leadership capabilities systematically.
Underlying constraint: C2 Talent mismatched to growth stage
No one at our company has deep expertise in marketing strategy. What does Evox offer?
Intelligence™ offers a structured learning curriculum tailored for executive teams. Complimentary Masterclasses introduce strategic decision-making frameworks, Paid Masterclasses deliver immediately actionable toolkits within a single session, and four-hour Executive Growth & Revenue Workshops in the Strategy & Growth vertical guide leadership teams through a live business challenge to produce a finished strategic asset, such as a strategic canvas or roadmap.
We spend across many tactics simultaneously and none move our revenue. What does Evox do?
When marketing budgets are fragmented across too many concurrent tactics, none receive sufficient capital to drive measurable outcomes. Evox Growth™ uses empirical data to identify the primary bottleneck, concentrates headcount and capital there, and terminates ineffective initiatives. This delivers a 12-month roadmap prioritized by financial impact, ready for execution by Evox, your internal team, or third-party partners.
Underlying constraint: D3 Unmanaged complexity
I work with a different vendor for every discipline and no one is accountable for the outcome. How does Evox solve this?
One agency for paid media, another for SEO, a contractor for web development, and an outside advisor for strategy: each optimizes in a silo while the company coordinates disconnected pieces that were never designed to fit together. Evox applies a unified methodology across the entire system. Strategic™ outlines what to execute and in what order, while Execution™ delivers results under a Fractional CMO orchestrating the initiative or a Shared Team held accountable to clear business targets and SLAs.
Underlying constraint: B2 Misaligned structure
Marketing and sales operate in silos. How does Evox align them?
Misalignment occurs when marketing evaluates raw lead volume and sales evaluates closed revenue without mutual agreement on lead qualification criteria. Evox Growth™ formalizes pipeline stages, establishes shared lead scoring standards, and engineers the handoff protocol between teams so the commercial funnel is governed end-to-end with clear accountability.
Underlying constraint: B2 Misaligned structure
Brand and positioning constraints
Without a differentiated brand, customers compare solely on price. These constraints are invisible in the funnel, but they make every sale more expensive.
Prospects evaluate us solely on price. How does Evox help establish differentiation?
Without clear differentiation, a company is bound to baseline market terms: competitors dictate pricing, payment schedules, and margins. Strategic™ formulates a defensible value proposition and competitive edge against direct market alternatives. For new ventures, Go-to-Market Sprint™ establishes this within two weeks; for established businesses, Evox Market Intelligence™ leverages the Competitive Gap-Analysis Engine™ to pinpoint underserved market white spaces.
Underlying constraint: A1 Strategic overgeneralization · A2 Weak pricing power
We do not have a defined brand strategy. What does Evox do?
Approach depends on company maturity. For a new product or venture entering the market, Go-to-Market Sprint™ establishes positioning, brand identity, messaging, and communication pillars within a launch roadmap. For an operating enterprise, Evox Growth™ deploys the Brand Synergy Matrix™ from X7™ to quantify how brand perception and customer touchpoints influence commercial conversion rates.
We operate multiple business units and each communicates inconsistently. How does Evox align them?
The Brand Synergy Matrix™, an X7™ subsystem applied within Evox Growth™, standardizes brand architecture across operating business units and audits how touchpoints impact conversion efficiency. The result is an integrated, coherent brand identity that eliminates customer confusion across diverse touchpoints and channels.
My brand does not appear when prospective buyers query ChatGPT or Gemini. What does Evox do?
An increasing volume of B2B and consumer buyers consult AI conversational engines prior to traditional search. If your brand is absent from generated responses, you are excluded from buyer consideration sets. Execution™ deploys LLM Optimization: maximizing discovery within AI search outputs, optimizing entity recognition, implementing rich structured schema, and developing authoritative content calibrated for model citations.
Market and competitive constraints
I am launching a new product or entering a new market. How do I avoid moving blindly?
Before committing capital to an unproven market, leadership must validate addressable demand and analyze competitive dynamics. Evox Market Intelligence™ quantifies real market demand, audits direct competitors, and models penetration scenarios with projected customer acquisition costs within 3 to 4 weeks. If you require an actionable commercial launch plan, Go-to-Market Sprint™ delivers it within two weeks.
Underlying constraint: A3 Demand concentration
I do not know what my competitors are executing or why they outperform us. How does Evox analyze them?
Evox Market Intelligence™ benchmarks your direct competitors across pricing, value proposition, acquisition channels, conversion mechanics, and structural vulnerabilities. Leveraging the Competitive Gap-Analysis Engine™, it compares market positioning and customer retention metrics against yours, uncovering commercial opportunities no competitor currently captures.
My product catalog or pricing architecture is poorly structured. How does Evox audit it?
The X7 Revenue Architecture Model™, the foundation subsystem of X7™ within Evox Growth™, calculates the business's growth ceiling, audits bundling across core and auxiliary offerings, and maps journey friction points where revenue drops out. This establishes precisely what to offer, to whom, and in what commercial sequence.
Underlying constraint: A2 Weak pricing power · D3 Unmanaged complexity
People and capacity constraints
Growth depends on who operates commercial levers. Headcount shortages, training gaps, or overloaded executive bandwidth are as tangible as a broken funnel.
I know what needs to be done, but lack the team to execute it. How does Evox help?
This is a capacity constraint: the Run stage of CORE™. Execution™ provides senior talent without months of recruitment or fixed payroll overhead: Shared Teams when you need an integrated cross-functional pod aligned to business milestones, Staff Augmentation when you need embedded specialists within your daily operations, and End-to-End Project Management for fixed-scope, fixed-deadline deliverables. Evox serves as the legal employer of record and guarantees rapid talent replacement.
Underlying constraint: C2 Talent mismatched to growth stage
I want to scale, but hiring takes months and increases fixed payroll. What alternative does Evox provide?
With Execution™, expanding operational capacity requires neither multi-month hiring cycles nor long-term severance liabilities. Senior specialists are pre-vetted and onboarded immediately; Evox manages payroll, statutory benefits, and legal compliance, allowing teams to flex up or down as business demands dictate. Fixed overhead shifts to variable expense.
Underlying constraint: C2 Talent mismatched to growth stage
Our executive leadership is overwhelmed. How does Evox alleviate their operational load?
When executives spend their days coordinating individual agencies and micromanaging tasks, they lack bandwidth for strategic decisions. A Fractional CMO assumes leadership of the marketing function and vendor management. A Shared Team operates against clear objectives and SLAs, led by an Evox Growth Lead who directs weekly execution sprints, eliminating the need for your leadership to manage day-to-day specialists.
Underlying constraint: B1 Decision bottleneck
Executives waste hours on repetitive operational tasks that could be automated. What does Evox do?
Handcrafted spreadsheets, manual data syncing across disparate tools, and answering identical inquiries drain the productivity of executives who should be driving growth. Engineering™ automates these workflows through middleware integrations and AI Agents that assemble reporting, resolve queries, and execute end-to-end tasks, reserving human intervention strictly for strategic decisions.
Underlying constraint: B1 Decision bottleneck · C1 Knowledge concentrated in key individuals · D1 Manual, unstandardized processes
My team has great commitment, but lacks advanced technical capabilities. How does Evox help?
This is among the most frequent constraints: dedicated personnel held accountable for outcomes they were never trained to deliver. Intelligence™ upskills teams across business analytics, MarTech platforms, automation workflows, and commercial execution through 6 to 8 week Professional Courses and bespoke InCompany programs tailored to your daily operations, empowering internal talent with independent technical judgment.
Underlying constraint: C2 Talent mismatched to growth stage
Our executive leadership lacks the technical framework to make informed decisions on AI, data, and technology. What does Evox offer?
Many leaders built substantial success using mental models that rapid AI advancements and enterprise automation have rendered obsolete. Intelligence™ equips executive management through 8 to 12 week Executive Programs (such as Chief AI Officer, Modern CMO, and AI Governance), 4-hour executive Workshops, and one-on-one Executive Mentoring, enabling them to evaluate technologies, audit technical vendors, and spearhead transformation.
Underlying constraint: C2 Talent mismatched to growth stage
Our marketing expertise resides with external agencies rather than inside our company. How does Evox resolve this?
If changing agencies means restarting from scratch, institutional knowledge never belonged to your business. Intelligence™ transfers the exact frameworks Evox deploys for clients directly to your team: customized InCompany training aligned with your workflows and Corporate & Advanced engagements (such as Academies, Sprints, and Labs) with senior advisors working side-by-side during implementation. The goal is to equip your company to audit and lead any partner, including Evox.
Underlying constraint: B2 Misaligned structure · C1 Knowledge concentrated in key individuals
Data and measurement constraints
Tracking metrics is not enough. Data must be modeled, governed, and translated into action; otherwise, it produces dashboards that no one uses.
We have data siloed across multiple platforms, with no unified model or quality standards. What does Evox build?
Without a centralized data model, every department defines identical metrics differently and confidence in reporting erodes. Engineering™ centralizes disparate data sources into a cloud-native Data Platform, designs a standardized data model linking sales, marketing, and finance, and establishes data governance policies: defining data ownership, validation protocols, and role-based access controls.
Underlying constraint: D2 Deciding without data
We track extensive metrics, but do not know how to turn data into action. How does Evox help?
A dashboard displaying a hundred disparate metrics fails to guide what to execute on Monday morning. Strategic™ prioritizes actionable indicators tied directly to the governing business constraint, converting numbers into decisions: quantifying capital left on the table by issue, identifying what to address first, and eliminating vanity metrics. Evox Audit Lab™ applies this to targeted problem areas, while Evox Growth™ audits the entire commercial model.
Underlying constraint: B3 Commercial approval bottlenecks · D2 Deciding without data
My team receives reports, but struggles to interpret them commercially. What does Evox offer?
When the bottleneck is data literacy rather than software tooling, the answer lies in structured team upskilling. Intelligence™ trains professionals in commercial data analytics through the Data Analytics Professional Course and Workshops within the Martech, Data & Customer vertical, enabling teams to transition from passive reporting to prescribing commercial action.
Underlying constraint: D2 Deciding without data
Process and technology constraints
The Orchestrate stage of CORE™ evaluates whether systems integrate seamlessly. When they do not, every workflow becomes manual, slow, and error-prone.
Our CRM, ERP, and marketing tools do not communicate with each other. What does Evox do?
This is the Orchestrate stage of CORE™: disconnected systems lead to duplicate records, lost attribution, and manual data entry. Engineering™ unifies them via Systems Integration, consolidates commercial metrics within a unified revenue data warehouse, and establishes clear governance so marketing, sales, and finance operate on identical figures.
Underlying constraint: D2 Deciding without data
My team wastes countless hours on repetitive manual workflows. What does Evox automate?
Engineering™ implements five tiers of automation tailored to operational complexity: Process Automation for deterministic rule-based workflows, AI Workflow Engineering for hybrid processes leveraging AI models, AI Agents for autonomous agents utilizing company tools and databases, Agentic Process Automation for complete workflows orchestrated by agents, and Agentic Transformation to redesign the entire operating model.
Underlying constraint: B3 Commercial approval bottlenecks · D1 Manual, unstandardized processes
We experiment with disconnected AI tools and see zero business impact. How does Evox help?
Evox AI-First™ is a 6 to 8 week consulting engagement that establishes where and how to integrate AI across operations. It maps core workflows, determines which should be automated through deterministic logic, which through AI Agents, and which require human-in-the-loop oversight, connecting foundation models with proprietary internal datasets and establishing governance protocols prior to production deployment. This is not prompt training.
Underlying constraint: D1 Manual, unstandardized processes
We lack a coherent MarTech stack and do not know what tools we need. Where does Evox start?
Purchasing SaaS licenses before formalizing operational workflows invariably results in shelfware no one adopts. Engineering Discovery is a 2-week architectural assessment that defines systems architecture and the technical roadmap prior to implementation. Subsequently, the Revenue & MarTech solution family deploys the foundational components: CRM, Marketing Automation, Email Marketing Automation, WhatsApp Business API, and proprietary revenue databases.
Underlying constraint: E3 Underinvestment in capabilities
My online store is a turnkey template that fails to generate sales despite substantial ad spend. What does Evox do?
When an eCommerce storefront does not convert, advertising capital is squandered. Off-the-shelf templates provide generic layouts uncalibrated for your customer journey or catalog complexity. Engineering™ develops High-Performance eCommerce solutions, across headless architectures or advanced implementations on Shopify, VTEX, or Magento, engineered for frictionless purchasing, peak speed, and precision analytics.
What if I do not want to rebuild the store, but rather optimize what I have?
Execution™ deploys Conversion Rate Optimization across your existing storefront: conducting heuristic usability audits, analyzing heatmaps and session replays, and running systematic A/B tests on product detail pages, navigation filters, shopping carts, and checkout flows. We remediate highest-leaking bottlenecks first, validating every enhancement with statistical data before site-wide rollout.
Our infrastructure cannot handle traffic spikes, and every code deployment feels risky. What does Evox do?
When a site crashes during peak promotional campaigns or every deployment is approached with fear, technology constrains commercial growth. Engineering™ migrates and manages Cloud Infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud with elastic auto-scaling, and implements DevOps & Continuous Delivery pipelines to release code changes frequently with zero downtime.
Financial and unit economics constraints
A company can generate substantial top-line revenue while earning minimal profit. When customer acquisition costs consume margin, scaling sales does not improve the business.
Revenue is high, but margins are compressed because acquisition costs are excessive. How does Evox solve this?
This occurs when transactions pay excessive tolls: platform pay-per-click or lead acquisition fees, vendor commissions, and unmeasured marketing channels. Strategic™ calculates true customer acquisition costs by channel and segment, benchmarks them against customer lifetime value, and isolates channels destroying margin. Evox Audit Lab™ audits accounts and tracking infrastructure; Evox Growth™ evaluates the holistic revenue model.
Underlying constraint: A1 Strategic overgeneralization · E2 Low structural profitability
What does Evox execute operationally to reduce customer acquisition costs?
Customer acquisition cost is lowered through two vectors. First, maximizing conversion from existing traffic: CRO applied to landing pages, lead capture forms, and checkout flows. Second, expanding acquisition channels that do not incur pay-per-click charges: corporate SEO, authoritative content marketing, and LLM Optimization. Together, they decrease blended acquisition costs without relying on ad networks to reduce media prices.
Underlying constraint: E2 Low structural profitability
How does engineering infrastructure lower cost per lead across advertising platforms?
Ad platforms like Google and Meta train bidding algorithms using downstream conversion signals. When a website sends degraded or incomplete event telemetry, algorithms optimize toward lower-intent audiences, increasing acquisition costs. Engineering™ implements Server-Side Tracking and robust Measurement Infrastructure that streams complete, deterministic conversion data back to ad networks, enabling automated bidding systems to target higher-value buyers within the same budget.
Underlying constraint: E2 Low structural profitability
I want to increase acquisition spend without eroding profitability. How does Evox do that?
This is the Expand stage of CORE™: scaling media budgets without breaking unit economics. Performance™ is designed for businesses that have reached this milestone: validated product-market fit, proven acquisition economics, and operational capacity to handle incremental volume. Evox co-invests operational and engineering capabilities to accelerate revenue, with compensation tied to measurable revenue expansion.
Underlying constraint: E2 Low structural profitability · E3 Underinvestment in capabilities
Why pay a fixed agency retainer if results are not guaranteed?
Under standard agency fixed retainers, the vendor gets paid regardless of commercial outcomes, placing all downside risk on the client. Performance™ fundamentally restructures this dynamic: a reduced base retainer paired with variable compensation tied directly to net incremental revenue rather than gross sales. If your business grows, Evox succeeds; if targets fall short, Evox shares the financial downside. This model requires a validated commercial engine and a diagnostic audit.
